ANCIENT MEDICINE In antiquity the people has a short life, especially the women a cause of the dangers of pregnancy and childbirth, and in average the men lived until 30 years old, because normally they used to change of place continually and the diseases were transmited quickly. The medicine in the antiquity was very different because normally only was a type of doctor that prepared remedies for cure diseases but there was made of plants or other elements, for examle for eye infenctions they used onions, acid and sawdust because this people thought that this was the only solution of the diseases, and also of this, they used to do prays and talk with the gods. Something that catches my attention is that they used amulets for that for example the kids will be born healthy of any disease and yet we can see this actually.
